| Not all of them couldn’t fine that hope, mean the Tragedy of Otranto, small ship from VLora which sunk near Otranto city (the reason why it has given this name) .Otranto is not the only city which had the exodus story. If you go above to Italy, you can find a lot of popularities. That happened last month, years, decades etc. We have to look further, the world has been in transition since the years that we can not remember. When it comes to Otranto, As Albanian (Arberesh) started the emigration since 15th century, the reasons were low economy , survive from ottoman emperor.__So it always had been a part of “Otranto”.__ | Not all of them couldn’t fine that hope, mean the Tragedy of Otranto, small ship from VLora which sunk near Otranto city (the reason why it has given this name) .Though the dream of these people was finally a place to spend their lives in peace but it resulted to be their last journey in search of hope. A national pain which, although 20 years after the event, is still remembered every year at the Vlore port, where the victims' relatives and the Vlora citizens see it as a memorial day for those hoping for a "day of war". As mentioned above those people who for a considerable amount managed to embark on the journey of the end of their life were unhappy with a system that was not sticking to what you heard the voice. |
